Energy efficiency audits can be one of the most effective ways to reduce operating costs particularly through optimizing energy use and reducing carbon emissions.
Mojarra has significant experience in delivering a wide range of energy audit and assessment processes including:
- Level 1 Overview audits (±40% accuracy), Level 2 Source audits (± - 20% accuracy) and Level 3 Detailed audits (±10% accuracy) consistent with AS/NZS Standard 3598:2000 Energy Audits and the EEO energy assessment framework;
- Review infrastructure, systems, equipment and practices on site to accurately estimate direct energy use and indirect energy users such as water and other resources;
- Identify areas for improved energy efficiency and cost saving including tariff optimisation, equipment selection and design of process solutions;
- Develop energy efficiency action plans that show the cost-benefit analysis of proposed recommendations including estimated payback periods;
Energy efficiency audits identify up-front costs and payback periods for energy saving opportunities. While some of these recommendations can offer attractive paybacks and ROI’s, the majority also provide long term cost savings and reduce risk.
