Voltage Optimisation Technology (VOT) - often called Voltage Reduction Technology - has been shown to deliver energy savings typically between 8% to 15% with a return on investment of 25% to 50% (2 to 4 years simple payback).

Voltage Optimisation Units provide a simple, maintenance free and robust technology that can reduce the voltage at the customer's electrical switchboard. VOT comes with a 10 year warranty.

The technology has been commonplace across the UK and Europe for more than 10 years. This technology has only recently become of interest in Australia due to the constant rise, and probable future rise in electricity prices.

A calculation of energy saving performance can be completed after a site survey, data logging and analysis.

The Next Generation in VOT - VOT Gen3 delivers more energy savings with enhanced safety and a higher ROI than previous generations.

User output voltage control: Enables users to instantly change the output voltage to match their sites unique needs. This VOT Gen3 feature provides increased energy savings and enhanced range of voltage control benefits compared with previous generations of VOT.
Auto bi-directional voltage optimisation: Previous VOT generations only worked in one direction, VOT Gen3 works in both directions automatically reducing or increasing voltage and power as needed. Whatever the incoming main voltage VOT Gen3 will stabilise the optimised output voltage within 1.3% of the customer setting which reduces the potential for electrical equipment damage from brown outs and nuisance tripping.
The Enhanced safety: VOT Gen3 offers the highest level of safety features as standard to secure power continuity such as: Automatic and Manual By-pass, Protection Systems for Overload, Surge, Under and Over Voltage and Temperature.
Instant visible savings: Coupled with the User Output Voltage Control and front panel displays the user can witness their own energy savings from the time of commissioning.
VOT Gen3 Options: Power Quality Management System (PQMS) - PQMS measures all power quality site readings and delivers the results via hard wire or wireless over your LAN or Internet. PQMS enables early identification of equipment failure and identifies changes in main power quality as well as instant feedback on power use.
Total Disconnect System (TDS) - Added protection and security that in the event of site need, maintenance or service, the power to the site is seamlessly by-passed from VOT Gen3 directly to the site. No interruption of power to the site – guaranteed, which is important for critical and sensitive electrical loads as used at data centres, hospitals, IT rooms, public areas, schools and universities.
